Our story

Did you know that our centre's name, "Healis", is derived from the Greek word "heal", symbolizing our commitment to helping children heal, grow, and thrive?

At Healis Autism Centre, our journey began with a profound commitment of our founders to making a difference in the lives of children with autism and their families. Our founding team recognised the need for tailored, compassionate support that empowers children with special needs to thrive.

We believe that effective therapy goes beyond traditional methods. Our approach is rooted in evidence-based practices that focus on producing tangible results for each child. We are dedicated to designing individualized programs that not only address behavioral challenges but also foster communication, social skills, and emotional well-being. By prioritizing measurable outcomes, we aim to set a new standard in the industry—one that emphasizes genuine progress over mere compliance.

Our centre is not just a place for therapy; it’s a community where hope, understanding, and growth flourish. We aspire to be a hub for like-minded therapists who share our vision and so we actively seek to attract professionals who are passionate about their work and committed to continuous learning. By fostering a collaborative environment among our teams, we encourage the exchange of ideas and best practices, ensuring that our team remains at the forefront of progress for our clients.

Together, we strive to create a nurturing space where both children and therapists can grow, learn, and thrive.

Our Logo

Our logo of a Butterfly signifies how we aim to help transform the lives of the children we work with. Like a cocoon, children with Autism or ADHD or Dyslexia may seem confined or limited by their condition. With the right nurturing and intervention, they can break free from their constraints and emerge as confident and competent individuals.

Just as the butterfly's transformation is a remarkable process, we believe that every child's journey is unique and precious. We are committed to helping them navigate their path, celebrate their success and flourish in their own ways.

Our Tagline

Embracing Neurodiversity refers to our belief that intervention should focus on bringing out the unique strengths of individuals with autism, ADHD and Dyslexia.

Elon Musk. CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has openly discussed his autism. Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, has shared about his ADHD diagnosis. Richard Brandson, founder of Virgin Group, has also spoken about how ADHD has helped him think creatively and outside the box.

By supporting families with insights, therapists with expertise, and children with evidence-based care, we believe that we can help neurodiverse individuals thrive and make meaningful contributions to society.

Testimonials

Matthew 1.jpg

Healis is probably one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! Within months with Healis, Matthew is now a very happy child and doing well at school. Healis helped those teachers at his school to know the best way to handle him, and he is thriving.
